About Firetrack

Firetrack was born from lived experience—built by someone on the FIRE journey, for others on the same path. I'm not a financial advisor with a fancy degree. I'm a software developer and a personal finance nerd who got tired of juggling spreadsheets and wanted a smarter, more dynamic way to track progress toward financial independence.

On my own path to FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early), I realized that the same principles we use in software engineering—monitoring, tracking, and alerting—can be incredibly powerful when applied to personal finance. Knowing where you stand, spotting issues early, and adapting your plan as things change can make all the difference between drifting and achieving financial freedom.

What is Firetrack?

Firetrack is a tool designed to help you stay in control of your financial journey. It brings clarity to your numbers, shows you your trajectory, and helps you focus on what matters—whether that's saving aggressively, reducing expenses, or planning for big life goals.

It also integrates forecasting techniques like Monte Carlo simulations—not because they can predict the future (they can't), but because they help you understand your direction and how resilient your plan might be.

FIRE is not just a number. It's a mindset, and it requires flexibility, awareness, and regular course correction. That's where Firetrack comes in. It's not just about building wealth—it's about building confidence in the decisions you're making today for the life you want tomorrow.
